The Hillingdon Literary Festival (HiLF) is a free weekend of literary festivities hosted by Brunel University London, which celebrated its fifth consecutive year in October 2019.

HiLF champions local writing and offers a plethora of literary events with world-renowned authors. During the festival, we host creative writing workshops; lively debates; industry masterclasses; arts performances; publish a local creative writing anthology, and more!

We’re also very proud to publish an anthology of local talent each year, championing the diverse voices of our local community. Physical copies are distributed freely, and available in all Borough libraries, and digital copies are available online.
